Privacy Policy

This policy explains what personal data favouriteVideo ("we") collects when you use favouritevideo.app, why, who we share it with, and how long we keep it. We do not sell your personal data and we do not use it for advertising.

1. Data we collect

• Account data — when you sign in with Google we receive your email address, name and profile picture. We do not receive your Google password.
• Your uploads — photos and videos you upload or import by link. These usually show people's faces and bodies. We use them only to generate the video you request; we do not use them to identify anyone, build face templates, or train AI models.
• Generated videos and the settings of each generation (type, length, speed, status).
• Credit and purchase records — credit balance, credits spent and refunded, and orders (package, amount, time). Card details are handled by Creem and never reach us.
• Technical data — server logs kept by our hosting provider, including IP address, browser type and request times, used for security and troubleshooting.

2. Cookies

We only use cookies needed to keep you signed in. We do not use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies.

3. Service providers

We share data only with the providers needed to run the Service, under their own data protection terms:

• Google — sign-in.
• Supabase — authentication and database (Japan).
• Cloudflare R2 — storage of uploads and generated videos (Asia-Pacific).
• Vercel — website hosting and server logs.
• AI video providers (currently fal.ai, MiniMax and Ofox) — receive the uploads needed for each generation and return the result.
• Resend — sends emails about your generations.
• Creem — merchant of record that processes purchases, invoices and taxes.

These providers may process data outside your country, including in the United States, Japan, China and other Asia-Pacific locations. We may also disclose data when required by law or to protect people from harm.

4. How long we keep data

• Uploads not used in any generation: deleted after 24 hours.
• Uploads used in a generation: deleted 30 days after the last generation that used them finishes.
• Generated videos: deleted 30 days after they are created.
• Generation summaries (without the media), credit records and orders: kept while your account exists, and longer where accounting or tax law requires.
• Account data: kept until you ask us to delete your account.

5. Your rights

You can ask us to access, correct, export or delete your personal data, delete your uploads and videos early, or delete your account. Email support@favouritevideo.app from the address you sign in with; we will respond within 30 days. Depending on where you live you may also have the right to object to or restrict processing and to complain to your local data protection authority.

6. Security

Uploads and videos are stored privately and are only accessible through short-lived links issued to your signed-in account. Connections are encrypted with HTTPS. No system is perfectly secure, so please avoid uploading content you are not comfortable storing online.

7. Children

The Service is not intended for anyone under 18, and uploads depicting minors are not allowed. If you believe a minor's data has been uploaded, contact us and we will delete it.

8. Changes

We will post any changes here and update the date above. For significant changes we will notify you by email.
